I had my oil pump replaced and they disconnected the battery to do the service. Now my power assist steps are not working. I have toggled the swith on and off, checked the fuse, amd started the vehicle 50 times to try and get the steps to work again, but no luck so far. Any ideas?

 

Are the step motors making any noise? Sometimes after the battery has been disconnected, the ASC controller locks up. Still not clear as to why it would do so. To get it out of that mode, try opening all 4 doors and press the ASC controller button on and off 4 times. If that doesn't work, let us know!

I do not hear any noise from the motor. I tried opening all doors and pressing the button several times, but no luck. Any other suggestions?
