Default Power brake booster vacum questions

Mine needs replacing. Is this a tough thing to install? I have some experience in auto repair. No mechanic though. I found a use one for $50 or a new one for $250. Vehicle is a 1997 sub high miles but plan on keeping it for at least 2 years. Thanks, for your help. Bruce

Default sure

did you know you can visit your dealer?!

Did you also know that after breathing in, you should breathe out?

Anyway, I did mine in a 1995 Tahoe before (actually twice, the first one was bad). it was not that hard... a bit of a pain, but it is possible.

Would you trust your life or more importantly MY life to a 'used' brake part?
Because if you hit me, I wouldn't hesitate to attempt to return the favor...

It should be pretty easy to replace, I did one on a 95 Tahoe some time back, avoid breaking open the brake fluid reservoir (master cylinder)... this will avoid having to bleed the brakes.... if there is any fluid coming out the back of it onto the booster you will most likely need to replace it as well...

not hard at all. Just a bit of back cracking action crawling under the instrument panel.

I got a brand new reman'd Cardone brake booster right here you can get for $110. Let me know if you are interested.
