Default Power Lumbar support in 2007 Avalanche

I just bought a 2007 Avalanche LTZ. The passenger side front seat has the lumbar support fully "inflated" and we cannot get it to lower. Assuming there is something wrong with it so all I am looking to do is to "deflate" and then never use it again. Does anyone have any tips?
I understand that they are not air pumped so I am using the words inflated and deflated as I dont know how else to explain it but right now it is pushing my passengers back forward so far that it is very uncomfortable and we just want to lower it and leave it lowered.
