Default Power seat not working properly

My battery was low in the 2004 Suburban recently. Ended up just getting a new one. But, in the middle of this my power seat on the driver's side started acting up. When I hit the remote, (I'm driver 2), it automatically sets the seat for me. However, it won't remember where I need the seat to be anymore, and sets it in the closest possible setting. Each time I get in the car, I'm having to move the seat before getting in. The seat heater isn't working either, but I think that's a separate problem. Anybody know if I need to have something reset since I put in a new battery. Or, if the seat/remote problem is due at all to the battery having been bad? Thanks ahead of time!
