Default Preferrred shop reference?

Yesterday I dropped $25 on the Haynes Manual for our 1995 Suburban, and was disappointed in how brief it was. Is the Chiltons manual any better?

Any other options for shadetree work? I really don't want to spend a pile of cash on manuals, and most of this stuff is on youtube anyways.

IMO they are both about the same. Either is better than nothing. I have 3 Haynes, 02 Mazda, 96 Lumina, 2000 Suburban, and a CSM for my Delta. I don't even know if you can get a CSM for anything anymore, but that has everything about everything in your vehicle. You might find something on cd.

Factory Service Manuals are available from Helm, Inc.

IMO, Chiltons and Haynes pale in comparison to a FSM.
