Default Purchasing new 2009 Tahoe LTZ

Well it down to the wire. should be getting a 09 Tahoe summit Whit Tahoe LTZ 6.2L loaded.
I had to search out of state. My bud is getting me GMS so hopefully should be picking up next friday and doing the 20 hr drive back home.

Very minimal negotiations with GMS...It is what it is. I have having them swap out the 20 Chrome clad wheels for the 5 spoke 20" polished alum.
Its going to be a long week.

Beside GMS other discount is the 2000.00(current GM owner). Pure BS a 2k rebate. It was 3k back in March. My luck it will go to 5k in July.

I will post pics when I get them.

Default voice tags

Program a destination in the GPS (not onstar) then add a voice tag.

use the SRC button, say 'destination go to + voice tag'

shut off truck.

cancel the navigation.

try again...

if it works, great, if not... its doing what mine does.

Does the 09 Tahoe come with a USB for ipod or MP3???

I have a oldeer mp3 player or I can snag my daughters ipod for the trip home.
Both only have the USB cable. Will either work?? Easier to get my music on the MP3 player.

Thanks

Default mp3

you can burn the MP3s to a CD w/a computer, it will play that.

unlike Toyota and Nissan (I think) it can not use A2DP bluetooth to stream from an iphone to the car...

and unlike the Mirosoft (ford) sync and Chrysler MyGig.... no USB support either....

GM's electronics are way behind.... the Ford Sync caused me to seriously consider the expedition for a long time before I got the tahoe... GM doesn't realize the impact these 'toys' have on my generation that grew up with electronics...

Really no USB support?????????? Terrible
A coworker is getting a new Infinity 3.7
It has usb, and alomst 10 gig harddirve to save and store mp3's/'wma's. Also a compact flash reader to read the mp3's. Sweet setup.

A 50k truck and way behind on some things.

Counting down the days. Friday seems like a long wait.
Of course I emailed the dealer with a few questions about window tinting and to save the window sticker. Still no reply. Cant stand that $hit!!!!!
How busy can they be????
Dont want some shop guy to prep to clean the truck and rip the sticker out out of the window!!!
