Question on LTZ

Question on LTZ
On GM's website it shows the chrome handles and mirrors standard on the LTZ...
Well I got a 4x4 LTZ and it doesn't have the chrome and also does not have the wood grain cover on the center console tray.. it has two black drink holders...
Is that correct or did I get screwed ?

RE: Question on LTZ
Hmm..That's strange. I test drove a couple of LTZs and all had chrome handles, mirrors, can't remember about the cup holder area, although I want to add that to the LT3 I wound up with.

RE: Question on LTZ
Early 07 Tahoe LTZ's did not come with the chrome handles. Chevy made a running production change and put them on ....Probably to increase sales.
Dont worry...You still have an awesome LTZ.

RE: Question on LTZ
ockevin is correct. There was a mid year change that included chrome handles, chrome grill, chrome mirror caps, and wood center console and an additional $700 increase in MSRP. So you did NOT get screwed, plus I think the tahoes look sharper in my opinion without all that chrome, though I do like the escalade lower mirror chrome caps. To each his own. Enjoy

RE: Question on LTZ
I agree with engine2, I like the monochromatic look on the early LTZ better than the later version.
In addition to the chrome trim mid year change on the LTZ, Chevy stopped offering the 20" polished wheels as an option on the LTs in order to differentiate them from the LTZ. Other than the badge if you had 20" polished wheels on a Tahoe from the outside you could not tell the difference between an LT1, 2, or 3 from an LTZ.

RE: Question on LTZ
Doo,
I knew you were kidding around. He (ockevin) probably misunderstood your post. I still thank you from saving me from buying the woodgrain center console with its tiny storage space for my early model year LTZ (But its looks nice though).
