Hey everyone,
I know this subject has been covered and I did search the forum for the answers as well as used the Wheel offset calculator, maybe some of you more knowledgeable guys/girls could help me decipher the findings.
I plan on putting on 33" tires w/ a 2"-4" lift.
I know the stock offset is +31mm, not entirely sure on the stock width of the wheel, soI guessed 7".
These are the specs of the wheels I want, will either work, any help would be appreciated?
20x10, (I am thinking these won't fit)
6 on 5.5 / Bolt Pattern
Back Spacing = 4.56 in.
Offset = -24
Hub Bore = 108
20x8.5, (These may have a chance)
6 on 5.5 / Bolt Pattern
Back Spacing = 5.14 in.
Offset = 10
Hub Bore = 108
Wheel offset calculator findings, not sure how to read entirely:
20x8.5 wheel
Current Wheel Specs: 7" width,31mm offset
New Wheel Specs:8.5" width, 10mm offset
Inner Clearance:2mm more (the inside of the wheel to the strut housing)
Outer Position:Extend an extra 40mm (position of the outside edge of the wheel)
20x10 wheel
Current Wheel Specs: 7" width,31mm offset
New Wheel Specs:10" width, -24mm offset
Inner Clearance:17mm more (the inside of the wheel to the strut housing)
Outer Position:Extend an extra 93mm (position of the outside edge of the wheel)
Thank you to all for your help.
Jay

I personally wouldnt put either one of those on your tahoe! FOR Sure not the -24MM offset. You need to try and find at least a +25 to +35 offset wheel. I have 24x10 with 305/35/24 tires. You might be able to compare mine to what you are wanting. I only rub while turning hard in reverse, nothing bad! If yours is lifted I doubt it would rub anything!

So with the 20x8.5 wheel and +10mm offset will they stick out and do you think they would fit with a 2"-4" lift? Rubbing issues, you think?
Thank you, Jay

Yes, they will stick out! From what you posted it says 40MM. Which is 1 1/3 inch. That is pretty far. In fact I doubt anyonethat knows or sells wheels would not recommend you doing this!Has/is it done, sure, but IMO it isnt wise! You should always try to keep it as close to factory as possible. If you find an offset that has the inner clearance and the outer position near the same that is ideal.
