I too have to say I am not impressed with this option. On our BMW car the rainsense is a one touch button. It is on the end of the wiper control and you simply push it in. It automatically adjusts to the amount of water on the windshield and it works wonders. There isnt intermittent settings, it is one button and push it in and it works wonderfully. I probably wouldnt pay for this option again on a GM as it seems to be almost identical to manually adjusting it with the intermittent settings without rainsense.

It would be better not too have this option. With the option I have to constantly play with the switch to get it to clean the window correctly. Instead of being something you can set and forget about, it is something that requires more of your attention while driving. But don;t worry, GM gives a page to explain how they work if you tell the dealer they aren't working correctly.
