yes!!! i took my o7 sub ltz to dealer and they replaced rain sensor and now it really works

Can you explain what they did and if there was a TSB number? They tell me mine work as designed, which either means the design was **** or they don't want to fix them.

Have the rain sense on our 07 Sub, it has always worked very well. Our Tahoe was one
of the early ones, and rain sense was not available then.

I too have to say I am not impressed with this option. On our BMW car the rainsense is a one touch button. It is on the end of the wiper control and you simply push it in. It automatically adjusts to the amount of water on the windshield and it works wonders. There isnt intermittent settings, it is one button and push it in and it works wonderfully. I probably wouldnt pay for this option again on a GM as it seems to be almost identical to manually adjusting it with the intermittent settings without rainsense.

The old RainSense worked infinitely better. Not sure what they did to the software but it certainly wasn't an improvement.

It would be better not too have this option. With the option I have to constantly play with the switch to get it to clean the window correctly. Instead of being something you can set and forget about, it is something that requires more of your attention while driving. But don;t worry, GM gives a page to explain how they work if you tell the dealer they aren't working correctly.
