Default Really excited!

Okay, my dad just told me that sometime later this week they're going to our Chevy dealership and tradingmy mom's2006 Navigator and his 2006Sierrafor a new 2008 black LTZ Tahoe ( I'm 14 so I still get concerned with what cars my parents have - dad has a 2007 Tundra =[ ). I looked at it online via ourdealer's website and it's really neat. It's got the chrome grille and handlebars, DVD player, moonroof, etc. - but that's all I could see from the pictures.

Our dealership's website isn't very helpful though. The "vehicle details" section just shows the standard options for 2007 LS Tahoe. I have no idea why and I noticed that all of the other new Tahoes they have for sale have the same description. So I have to know, what is standard on the LTZ models? I'm super happy she's going back to the Tahoes, I love the new ones.

I mean I know I'll find everything else out in a few days but I'm just too excited. I don't really like her Navigator, even for a "limited edition" the seats are ugly. Haha. What excites me the most is that it may be my Tahoe in 2 years, because last I heard my first car will be whatever my mom's driving because by then she will have enough money to get her a smaller SUV/car since she'll no longer need all the room.

Also, anyone know of where I can find good pictures of LTZ's? I googled them but can't find any good ones.

Thanks!

Thanks I went there but it took me a while to find the standard equipment thing. Any way I can use the VIN to check the equipment my mom's Tahoe will have??

Might try a PM to ZX1100f1 with the VIN. He's been known to provide that info.

Haha, sorry I didn't post earlier. My dad's been takingme with him to dealerships.

It turns out that the morning we went to our local Chevrolet dealership, they sold the LTZ we liked. They had another one, but it was used and had the "gold mist" color, which my mom doesn't prefer.

BUT, even though I thought my parents gave up on the Tahoes for a few months, my dad came home today with one! The dealer was with him and took the Navigator. Oh well. This one is an LT3, black with ebony interior, DVD player, Navigation system, sunroof, Rainsense, remote start, power liftgate -- everything. She loves it and I am so glad we are back to Tahoes.

What I don't get is that we have to take it to the dealership we bought it from to get the every-3,000 mile-checkup or something? We bought it from the GM Superstore about 45 minutes away from our city, yet there's a huge Chevrolet dealership a few miles into our city that won't do the checkups for free.

Compared to the Navigator, it is a much better vehicle. More legroom in the front row, bigger DVD player, heated seats have more heat, power liftgate is faster and has a convienent button on the door to close it [Navigator had one inside and on key fob only], and the navigation system is a great feature. Only thing I'll miss is the power running boards.

All's well that ends well. Stationary boards do a good job of protecting the sides from road rash.
