Default Rear audio / HVAC controller dead

The rear audio / hvac controls died while driving a month or so ago. Everything still works from the front, I can turn the rear fan on and adjust it to blow from above or below and even set an automatic temperature that it maintains with no problems, but the buttons and display are dead so the rear headphone jack won't work for the DVD player and passengers can't adjust the heat from the rear. Would a replacement panel fix this or is there a fuse hidden somewhere that could be the culprit?
