Default Rear Bumper Cladding Adjustment

Does anyone know how to adjust the rear bumper on a 09 Suburban. My painted cladding seems to be moved over one way. It rubs on the tailgate on the drivers side and is slightly inset on the rear drivers qtr panel. On the passenger side the bumper sticks out slightly more than the rear qtr panel. Appears like an 1/8".

Best place I know of is your dealer's body shop. Should be a warranty item unless it's crash damage.

Going to dealer tomorrow. The left rear door lock actuator failed to keep working, the engine seems to be surging ( or hesistating a bit) and the rear bumper cladding adjustment.

Dealership took care of it. It appears that bumper was replaced at one time. It had writing on the under back side almost like it came from a used parts place. Anyway the dealership realigned the bumper and buffed out the area that was rubbing on the lift gate. Cost me $50 but looks a lot better.

What was the $50 for? Wasn't it under warranty?

Manufactures warranty doesn't cover if the truck had an accident. As posted earlier the bumper had been replaced so they thought. Couldn't take it back to where I bought it because that is some 1200-1500 miles away.
