Default Rear climate control problem

I need help. I recently bought a 2008 chevy tahoe ltz with 45,000miles. To start off the front controls/ac/heat/fan works great even on auto or divided with passenger. The problems is with the rear. When I first start the car ac/air will blow through the second and third row ceiling vents for about 2 minutes then will about change to blowing air to the third row side/floor vent. No matter what setting for the position I try and change it (rear climate control console) to feet or face it only blows out to the feet in the third row. I can change the fan speed and temp with no problem though. On last note when it comes out the ceiling vents at first it's blowing at full speed then slows down and transitions to the third row rear feet.. Any ideas what the problem is?

Hi Armey37,

I'm very sorry to hear of the complications that you are experiencing with your Tahoe. I am not a certified technician, but I will be glad to contact your preferred dealership in order to have your concern properly diagnosed. Feel free to send us a private message with your full contact information, VIN, current mileage, and dealership name if we can be of any further assistance. I'm looking forward to hearing from you!
