Default Rear DVD volume?

I have a 2005 2500 Suburban with the factory Panasonic rear seat DVD player. The volume when using it has to be cranked way, way up to use it normally. So if i forget to turn it down before switching back to the radio or CD player, i probably damage everyone's hearing in the truck.

Is there any way to adjust the volume to make it more equal to the radio or cd player level?

Thanks!
