When it rains it pours. Fixed one problem this starts today.

Ok when you open the rear power lift gate either by the remote or the handle it opens a little less the half way then closes again. You can't stop it from closing. Any help?

 

The gas struts need to be replaced. Be sure to support the door in the open position w/ something sturdy before removing the struts as it is very heavy. It's a relatively easy DIY job.
