Could anybody tell me the approx weight of each rear rotor on a 2002 Suburban ? I need a friend to bring me home a pair in his hold luggage from CA.....I live in Northern Ireland and shipping is very expensive.........Thanks

 

my guess is 10lbs each for a 1500 series and 20lbs each for 2500

Thanks for the heads up. I'm afraid that means I can't ask my friend to bring home 2 rotors in his plane luggage.He' only allowed 50lb total

 

c'mon, at only 22 lbs each, that's at least six pounds for your friend!

 

I've texted him the VIN number and asked him to call at O'Reilly Auto Parts and check the weight himself. Strange I brought 2 rotors home for an Econoline and had them in my hand luggage. The girl insisted I put the bag in the overhead locker. Good job we had no turbulence otherwise somebody would have got a heavy blow to their head !
