I have a 2013 Avalanche Black Diamond with the backup camera in the rear view mirror display. The camera should come on when I go into reverse and then shut off when I switch to drive. My camera comes on at startup in park then stays on for a few minutes even in drive, eventually it shuts off and the green indicator light on the rear view mirror flashes until I shut the vehicle off.
