Hey everyone, this is my first post so pardon my ignorance kind of new to this. I am in the process of reinstalling a rebuilt turbo 400 and notice that the output shaft is longer on the one I just put in. I haven't installed the transfer case yet just wondering if it's going to be a problem or if I have to get some kind of converter or something. Any help?

I believe he is talking about the output shaft of the transmission itself. But, the problem is likely because of it being a RWD or 2WD trans output shaft. Call a transmission shop to ask or hopefully a trans specialist will respond.
