Have a 2013 Suburban 2500.
The remote start is not working.
I do not see a fuse for it in the the fuse panel.
I made sure it was activated on the dash computer.
No CEL, all the fluids are topped of. Oil pressure is good.

I'm a little stumped.
Any troubleshooting ideas?

if you have another fob...try it.
dealer can test your fob. they can check the inhibit data for the remote start system....ie hood switch is one such input.

Both fobs are not starting it. Just flashes the lights once after I hit the lock button twice.
Once I get it inspected and get my plates I will take it by a dealer and see what they say.

I was just reading that if there is a key in the vehicle it may not start. It was a Hazmat Response vehicle.
I wonder if they hid a key inside somewhere....

 

If it was a keyless push button system i could see it. If its a transponder key its can't recognize the key unless its in the ignition.
