Mary, the front comes off in about 30 seconds. Reach behind grill and loosen the tow speed nuts. Pull and it's off. You can run without it as you paint I'll show pic.

The rear gold and plastic top will come off using the same method you used to get the rest off.Don't "cut" in behind entire emblem. "Cut" in behind the outer gold part only.
With rear outer piece off

You can paint both plastic pieces. Fornt will go back on with nuts only. My tape was still sticky too though. the rear will need new 3m trim tape
