Reverse sensors not working on 2007 LTZ

That is different from what I see. Mine only beeps when started then when really close to the wall, but I am still in motion when the second beeping occurs. Hopefully they will be able to figure it out for you.
I have noticed the same problem with my 2007 ltz - one beep then nothing else. It doesn't matter how slow I go. My radio is usually on, so I don't see how I could miss the additional beeps.
I do have a rental 2007 this week and the back up sensor worked as suggested one time and never again.
Any additional information?

I went up to the dealer and tried two tahoes that had sensors...one with the nav and one without the nav. Both of them did the same thing mine does. I don't know if it is a problem all around but does it not make sense to gradually beep faster and faster as you get closer to the wall or object? I mean, what if a bike or heaven forbid a kid is back there and you are backing up...even without a camera and it doesn't beep again until you are hit the object or don't have time to stop and hit it? I have never had rear sensors before and don't know how they work exactly. Anyone have experience with another vehicle?
so just pay attention to the lights when you are backing up (you are looking back there arent you??) ..if i remember right, once you see the red light..and continue backing up..it starts beeping more than once. at that point, you are like 12 inches or less from hitting something.
i came to the conclusion that the backup sensor lights are the best thing ever.. the camera, with its fish lense, is pointless.

If it weren't for the camera, I would have hit something by now. I completely agree with XM Dude - something isn't right. If they can make lights change from green to yellow to red, they can associate a beep at different speeds as well. Does anyone here own a car other than a Tahoe with reverse sensors that can explain how theirs work?
I had a Lincoln Navigator and the reverse sensors were like eyes behing my head. They worked great. They would beep faster and faster as you got closer to the object, then when you were about 12 inches, it would be a continuous beep. I can't believe chevy can't get this right. I don't think mine work correctly, but if it is working then it is pretty much worthless.
Probably not since the lights on the back panel work just fine, and when I have stoped completely, the fast beep turns on??? It doesn't make sense to have to look at the screen and then look at the lights.
