I am having the same problems with the fluctuation in shifting. I have had the oil changed and filter and it is still doing it. Are there any other ideas??

I originally posted this thread and since I have had the trans fluid changed and the system flushed. since then I haven't noticed the rpm fluctuation anymore but also it is a lot warmer now than when I first got the vehicle and I don't drive it that much. Another thing to mention is that the local shop I had the flush done charged I think around 150 bucks for the flush and change.

I will give that a try. I did change like half the fluid and it really did not do anything for the fluxuations. They are still happening.

Exclamation Any Solution Found

I have a 2001 Chevy Blazer with very high miles but in great conditions. I am also experiencing the same problem with the tach jumping up and down while cruising at normal speeds when you have to add just a small amount of throttle. I have not taken it to a Tranny shop yet in fear of the outcome.

what I have done
tranny fluid and filter change with added Lucas treatment.
plugs, wires,cap and new distributor
throttle positioning sensor
fuel pump and filter
fuel pressure regulator (solved the long starting problem)
replaced most vacuum hoses (solved the 4x4 switching problem)

will the tranny need replaced if it is the TC disengaging?

I have noticed that this is a BIG problem from all the forums and the Youtube vids. So either people are selling their trucks, living with the problem or they have found the Solution but not posting it.

Thanks for any feed back.
