Default Rpm Limit

I have 2002 Tahoe 5.3 motor. My question is What is the rpm limiter set at from the factory. I know the speed limiter is set at 99 mph. This pulls to about 4500 Rpms and then just kinds quits. Even though you are not anywhere near 99 mph.

Try it in the 1st gear, it won't trip the speed limiter, but probably the RPM limiter (I would rather call it governor).
Tell us how it went. Just curious.
