Default Long cold cranking

Vehicle is a 2002 Chevy suburban, about 140K miles on it. I am having problems with long cranking times especially after its been parked for an hour on longer. I've already changed the fuel pressure regulator, and still have the same problem. I'm starting to lean towards a fuel pump problem. Anyone have any ideas?

Welcome to the forum. It's probably best to check the fuel pressure before embarking on a major job like that. The fuel pressure should be 55-62 psi with key on, engine off. If it started low and only gradually built up, perhaps the fuel filter could be clogged or fuel pump could be on its last leg.

Alright I should rent a fuel pressure tester then. Its runs and drives fine just long cranks after it sits for a bit.

Might be. I'd suggest turning the key on without cranking it for 15-20 seconds. Then try starting it

cnickels87: Welcome to the forum.

Fuel pressure gauge runs about $30-$40.

Yep, get a fuel pressure gauge before start replacing unbroken parts.
