RV mirror display OC on temperature

My compass on the RV mirror works. However the temperature displays OC, it works here and there but idk what it is???.... Any help anyone.

2000 Chevy Tahoe old body style
197K miles
5.7L

It means "open circuit." Sensor is bad, or a problem with your wiring.

Welcome to the forum.

On the current models, it is located behind the grill toward the passenger side.
