Scosche Bluetooth Module for 07-up GMLan coming
Been watching this thread for a while, wanting my iPhone in my 07 Silverado too. Just last week my installer calls me and tells me that soundgate has a new cell phone part, but will require a Parrot kit also, total cost under 399 (like the Blue fusion is), so anyway yesterday I had it installed and together with my iPod part all seems to be working great, my on-star works, my iPod, XM, and phone all operate correctly. the install took Jeff about 23 mins start to finish which included the Mic placement and screen placement for the Parrot. All in all I am very happy. Total bill with Labor 380.00, and I have the best bluetooth kit on the market, instead of an unproven phone interface like in the Bluefusion.
Yeah, very frustrating. I may start looking into the Bluetooth Module. I just wish we could get some part numbers for the 2009's. Still waiting to get the part number on the new nav head unit.

According to Scosche there shouldn't be any issues with using an iPod/iPhone/Generic Bluetooth Adapter or streaming using your Bluetooth phone that has MP3 capabilities, although there could always be some exceptions.
Yeah, but I'm talking about iPod adapters like Scoche's adapter that plugs into the XM module, as well as the one from Coastaletech. That's the conflict I'm concerned with.
Same here, except I used the GMX322 in conjunction with a cheap Parrot kit (Evol) and an old iPOD Lockpick I had lying around. GMX goes behind the NAV, Lockpick goes with the XM module.
Everything works as intended and I am not using most of the fucntionality. Nice to be able to see movies upfront, input address while driving, etc.

I take it the Scoshe Blue Fusion will not work with the GMX-322?
It would be nice to have the caller ID, etc to appear on the Navigation screen.
What Parrot Bluetooth kit would you recommend? Do they work the same as the Scoshe unit or do they have a separate display for the caller ID?
Thanks!

you would still have the problem of needing two boxes with the iphone. Also steaming music via bluetooth is not the cleanest of sounds. A solution might be to go with the Peripheral Elec PXAMG which plugs in thru the back of the head unit for the ipod interface, and then use the Blue Fusion but still not sure if they would work together.
I dont care for the company but doesn't CoastelTech have a all in one interface already?
