Default Service on 2015 Suburban Wiped Out Feature

I have been having issues with Display in center of dash. I have had it serviced twice. Last time on May 16th, Sunrise Chevrolet in Collierville TN., downloaded new software to supposedly alleviate the issue. Picked car up on May 18th and seemed to be working great. Went to pick up my granddaughter from school and backing in as I always do, I noticed that the yellow to red triangles did not reflect in my display indicating how close I was to the poles. When I picked up my car, I had to reset few things. Called Sunrise immediately and told them the problem. The said they would have to research and would call me back. They said I would need to bring it in so they could look and figure it out. Left town on May 18th. While driving display went out, then came back on in about 15 seconds so still have a problem. I called Sunrise on June 2 to make an appt. to fix the parking assist situation ( no triangles). First they told me that the software update had wiped them out and there was nothing they could do. Next phone call was saying that my car NEVER had that feature. Come on people, I have been driving this car for almost 2 years. I know what I have. Anyone else ever have an issue with software update? Take to Chevrolet and created a ticket/complaint. Now I wait.
