Service 4wd light in 03 Tahoe

Service 4wd light in 03 Tahoe
I drive my truck an i hear a ding like a when the gas is low the sound come on... this time is was the sound but no light..
this was the first time i have seen the light Service 4WD.. previous to this the ABS light came one
just recently when i press the brakes it kinda thumps back lightly not sure whats wrong....
