Tahoe & Suburban The power, space, and brutal towing ability make the Tahoe and its longer sibling, the Suburban, arguably the best full size SUV's on the market today.

Angry Service Dept tried to scam me.. IMHO

It's amazing what certain dealerships will do for a buck. My 2009 Tahoe would not start one day... it cranked and cranked, almost turned over but wouldn’t start. I tried for about 30 minutes when finally it started. I drove it for 20 miles on the highway (so I could get it home) and parked it in my driveway. I turned the car off and tried starting it again but this time it just wouldn’t start. Sometimes it would start and stall within 1 second.

Anyway, I called onstar and they had the car towed to a local dealer for service. The next day I get a call from the service dept... "We fixed your car... we replaced the fuel pump module but your relay and fuse were missing so that’s not covered under warranty" Now what’s sad is, I was prepared for them to somehow milk me for "not under warranty" items. I do all my own repair work and know more about my car then some service mechanics... so I started with the... "Wow.... the relay was missing... AND the fuse too??? You mean someone stole it?" They responded with "I didn’t say someone stole it I said it was missing" me: "well then how is it missing since the car was towed directly to your shop?" After going back and forth with the service guy for a bit and later informing him that I am well aware that the relay and fuse were not missing, etc... They said "just come pick up your car, we will cover the missing relay no charge"<O</O

I get so angry when stuff like this is done because while I was there a few people came in to pick up there vehicles and I wondered as they were paying, how many of them were being scammed for $$$ as well. <O</O

I'd report it to GM and the BBB.

If you would like to file a complaint about this dealership I would be glad to handle it for you. If you would like to direct message me the details I will handle the GM portion for you.

I quit dealing with the dealership also. I had the water pump replaced on my 01 Sonoma. I drove it for a week and it started making a funny noise,I checked it out and the freakin water pump was about to fall off... I couldn't believe it,thankfully i was able to tighten it up and it was ok.Needless to say I'll never deal with the dealership again. The funny part is my cousin works at the dealership and he checked the invoice and told me "Slappy" "fixed" my truck.Go figure..............
