Default Shake Rattle and Roll

I put the 07 back in the shop today for more rattles, this is the third time. This time the stealership found a TSB for the driver's door and replaced the rubber insulation and the door strike with a re-designed model. They played with the upper console and one of the air vents in the headliner to get them to stop rattling. The rattle in the dash is intermittent, but I didn't hear it on the way home. I am crossing my fingers.

I just wanted to post this in case anyone else is as annoyed as I was with any rattles, there is a TSB for the doors...now.

Have the dealer try this to fix the rattle in your IP:

If the noise is isolated to the center of the I/P carrier, inspect the mounting of the OnStar® module. If the OnStar® module is rattling in the OnStar® module support bracket, add felt tape to the outer ribs of the OnStar® module support bracket to tighten the fit between the bracket and the OnStar module.

Thanks Dave.
How about the rear air controls in an LS model (mounted on the head liner). Same general idea, use felt tape?

Off the subject...when did the ring tapping start?

Marine Corps joke for Naval Academy grads that will tap their academy rings on the side of their coffee cups ensuring that everyone sees their ring and knows they went to the academy.

I am a Marine, but even we wear brown boots (rough leather) these days. Just like society we are getting too lazy to polish our own boots.

I have a nice rattle in the b piller or headliner above the b piller, but affraid to take it in. I work as an advisor and hate squeeks and rattles. Any known complaints with that area or no?
