Shift interlock solenoid.
2001 Suburban 1500.
I think I have to replace my shift interlock solenoid as I am having trouble with the shifter going in to park. I know it does not go into park when I go to start the vehicle and it won’t start. I have to shift in to Neutral, and then start it.
The times when it does go in to Park, then it starts while in park and there in not a need to shift in to Neutral.
I was able to locate the interlock solenoid but I am not what the procedure is to replace it. Please assist if you can.
