The float on my master cylinder is unplugged. Those floats go to the bad over time. Same on my old Honda CRV. I just unplugged it. I'm checking fluids all the time anyway. Not so many years ago there were no floats in master cylinders. I use my Suburban to tow my travel trailer. So, I'm big on servicing that transmission. I think I will add an extra transmission cooler.

yea,, my-brother-in-law unplugged his too,, for quite a while,,, then just decided to fix it,,, first with just the sensor,,, [ I just ordered a sensor,, less than 10 bucks ] but replacing the sensor did not keep the dash lights off,,, so he changed the reservoir and float,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, he could not remember if the float comes in the reservoir,, or got that separate , either way not a big dollar fix,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
