Default Side mirror turn indicator

I noticed this morning that the passenger side low beam headlight was out on my wifes '07 suburban. Tonight I picked up a set to replace both at the same time. What a chore that was, but thanks to this forum I was able to do it myself. Anyway, driving home after getting the bulbs I noticed that the right side mirror turn indicator was not working either, but I thought maybe thats because the headlight was out on that side. After replacing the bulbs, the mirror indicator on the right side still does not work but the left side does, although all of the turn signals work fine. Any ideas where to look?

Was it working before you changed out the bulbs? If so, I'd check the connections around where you were working.

No, it had quit working before I changed them. They seem to have went out at the same time. Maybe just a coincidence though.

Update: The turn indicator on the mirror starting working again all by itself. I guess it just went on vacation for a bit.

Welcome to the forum.

Maybe but connectors might not be compatible and probably have to at least get them programmed by the dealer.

Sounds like a potential connector problem.

These kind of problems rarely fix themselves.

I have fixed the problem! It was very simple actually. I sold the money pit and bought a 2012 Hyundai Sonata.
