Here is what the GM-Lan vehicles will have to use to be able to run Sirius from the stock 07 Tahoe radio.

Should be available by Spring 07.

And how long will it take for the FCC to approve this merger if it ever goes through? We talking weeks, months, or years? I'll believe it when I see it.

Thanks for all the responses. It will be nice when I can listen to the Sirius channels via XM in my Tahoe. The part that sucks is we have two other radios with Sirius and it's only $6.99/mo to add more radios to my account. XM costs $15/mo plus service fees.

Tell XM you want the $77 / year deal or you will shut it off. I let mine expire and XM was relentless with offers. Each offer got better until I gave in at $77 + taxes etc...which after taxes etc.. breaks down to just under $7 month.

If you would like to use the factory XM antenna in your Tahoe then you can purchase this nifty lttle adaptor:

http://www.tss-radio.com/sirius-dual...er-p-3910.html
Although the converter may not work in 2007-08 vehicles, does anyone know if the antenna adapter work in the newer GM vehicles.
I have a 2007 Equinox and at the very least would like to get rid of the antenna that comes with the plug-n-play units.
