I own a 2003 Sub. K2500/8.1 used for towing an enclosed trailer. It does have the sliding tow mirrors which I love. The problem is I have to manually pull them out and push them in when not towing. I've replaced the switch #15883319 with a new one and it doesn't help. One mirror goes out and that is all.
Has anyone been inside these mirrors to find a problem or even have an eletric schematic to trace the wires from the switch? Knowing the color codes would ease the time to find a glitch.
