Smurf oil or Dex 6

I have a 2004 2500 Suburban 8.1L/4l85e with the RPO code NP8 which is the NVG246 (I believe). Do I still use Auto Trak II fluid or has Dex 6 replaced it? I haven't changed the transfer case fluid in a while now and figure it is time.
