Default Sneaky girlfriend

hey y'all! I'm trying to be sneaky and order some nerf step bars for my bf 99ish suburban. I'm having a hard time catching him away from her so I haven't been able to determine her exact year and model. Does it matter? I'll post a couple pics. Does it really matter from C to K, or Even engine type for that matter, when buying something like this?

It's a '92-'99 model. Look inside the driver's door at the stickers, should have the build date on one of them.

That's a 2500 model - that's an important bit of information.

C vs K, probably not as important, but that's simply 2wd(C) vs 4wd(K). Looks like 4wd from the stance.

Engine type shouldn't matter, but it's either the 5.7L (350 cu in) or 7.4L (454 cu in).

Take a picture of the VIN and use THIS , and that should give you all the information you need. VIN is in the windshield, or on the stickers in the driver's door jam.

And thank you to your boyfriend for his service to our country.
