SOS Led 3157 bulb help needed
I recently installed a set led bulbs in the DRL sockets after I figured out the 4114's standards were the cause of the smoked up housings and the partial melting of their sockets. I replaced the housings and the leds it looks great. That being said, I got all excited and ordered 3157 leds to replace the front and rear turn lamps, back up lamps and brake lamps. What a mistake.....no cruise control, fast blinking, although the back up lamps work fine. I have read that I need an electronic flasher unit to cure these issues. Is this true, if so where is this unit located in my 2004 K1500 Suburban and what replacement unit do I need. Will this give me brake lights and sidemarkers (194 leds). When I put the regular 3157's back everything went back to normal.

Welcome to the forum...
You do indeed need to install load resistors inline with the LED's or get LED's that have the resistor built in and will also work with the CAN bus of newer vehicles communications....
