Default The spiral wiring cord at rear lift gate of a 2005 suburban

For the rear window lift gate of a 2005 suburban aka gmt-800, there is a spiral wiring cord that connects from rear pillions of the body to the tabs for the window defogger. Is there a specific attachment for the "spiral wiring" cords to keep the out of the way when moving objects in and our of the rear of the vehicle?

Thanks.
I recently had the back hatch repaired. I do not recall seeing "them" dangle before, in the rear view, as much as I have seen now. Perhaps I will take back to body shop and ask the question ... but It's complicated.
