Steering box for 1999 K1500 Suburban

Steering box for 1999 K1500 Suburban
I have a 1999 K1500 Suburban and need to replace the steering box. I am finding mixed reviews on whether the steering box off a K2500 will work as a replacement. Anybody know for sure it if will work or not?
