Steering failure
Just had to have my 2022 suburban towed to dealer and was informed it had, “a complete failure of the rack and pinion steering.” Also, it would take 5-7 working days to receive the parts so it will be in the shop for almost two weeks when all is said and done. I have some 40k miles and feel like this is unusual and am disappointed as I’ve driven suburban for almost 30 years and never had something fail after such a short time. Anyone else have similar issues? I saw there’s a recall on 2021 models for steering failure, but nothing on 2022s.
Regular warranty is three years, 36,000 miles so no, it did not cover. Fortunately, I did purchase the extended warranty and they will cover it. I am still so disappointed to have this major of failure on a two year old vehicle.
