Steering wheel swishing noise

I have a 2007 Tahoe ~ when I turn the steering wheel, to the left or to the right, I get this swishing sound. It's mainly annoying and would like to find a way to make it go away.

Hello Kalola,
Have you gotten this looked into by a dealership? We're available to follow up with them on any diagnoses they may have done on this matter. Or we can check into warranty/recall information if you were to send us the last 8 of your VIN.
All the best,
Sarah (Assisting Louis)

Kalola,
Thank you for providing your VIN number. I have researched your vehicle, there currently are no recalls of known steering issues on 2007 Tahoe vehicles.
The cause of this noise may be a power steering pump issue. Another possibility is a steering column issue. It is difficult to diagnose a problem like this over the internet. I encourage you to have the vehicle inspected by a certified technician; they will be able to assist you further.
Please keep us posted.
