Default Steering Issue- Swishing Noise

We have a 2012 Tahoe with 75K miles on it. There is a "swishing" noise in the steering and we have been told it is a $1300 steering "piston" issue. Really? at 75K miles?? comments??

Hello SKramr,

I'm truly sorry to learn you're experiencing this issue with your 2012 Tahoe! Out of pocket expenses can be frustrating, especially when you encounter them so early on. To clarify, were you given the $1300 quote by your dealership? Please send your VIN, contact information, mileage, and preferred dealership in a private message. We'd like to look into this further and contact the involved dealership for further assistance.

Thank you and we look forward to your message.
