I have a 2001 suburban and the center caps of the wheels are all pitted, my question is I was trying to pop them off and I can not get them to come loose,do you have to take off each wheel to remove the center caps,looks like the lug nuts have to be removed before the center cap comes off
I tried putting a screwdriver in the cap to pry it off but looks like it might break.Thanks again Jimbo

 

yep, they will be marred if you pry them from the outside.


remove the wheel and push them out from the back with the but end of a screwdriver.
