Sub & Amp for 2007 Tahoe
Hello,
I am looking on how to hook up a hi-lo converter to the factory 2007 Tahoe. I understand that there is an 8" in Bose sub built in underneath the center console. I have found the wires that run to the sub but I am unsure which ones to tap into from the left rear and the right rear. I am looking for the wiring code. Also do I have to tap in before the factory amp or after the factory amp? Thank you.

You have to run the hi-lo conv. through the BOSE amp other wise you syst. will not work. As far as the wires to use I will have to get the diagram again and let you know.
I did this on my 05 Silverado and to my friends Tahoe. I am going to do it to my Tahoe I picked up this past weekend. The only problem I have is trying to find room for an amp.
I will figure it out.
I will let you know when I get a sec. about what wires to use.
You also can leave the factory sub. in the Tahoe. I tapped into the rear speakers......
