I am running a single Kicker Solo Baric mounted in the rear side panel in a custom box. The box is built behind the panel and made of MDF , fiberglass and lots of Dynamat. It sounds great, but best of all...takes up no room.

wotr- now that i really look at the MTX box, it sure doesn't seem to fit your tahoe. the one you found looks more of a match.
big- yes, bass forms is the brand and they make boxes for the 07. but i'm not sure a down-firing box would fit back there. you gotta have at least 14 inches to fit speaker diameter, mounting bracket, plus the width of vertical MDF board. 10's would fit. but down-firing 12's wouldnt (i think).
the homies at SUV WORLD tell me rear-firing subs cause too much vibrations. so my system is completely up in the air. looks like i have to decide between sacrificing seating for sound... or sound for seating.
any suggestions are welcome. thanks guys.

Kevin,
Do you have any pictures of this??? I guess your local shop built this? If they still have the specs I wonder if they would release them to you and you could pass the build sheet on to us?? If not, what would they build and sell the box for?? Any help would be appreciate.

Thanks,
Landon

Landon....

The shop that did the work is Advanced Mobile systems in Garden Grove, Ca. The box is 1.3 cu. ft and running a Kicker solo baric 10" sub. I will take a pic of the speaker grille tomorrow. You can see the grille and not really see the sub. I still have the full use of the 3rd row and all the cargo room.
