Suburban 2007 Radio no speakers sound but sond is ok when using headphones
HI,
I have a suburban LT 1500 2007 with Bose system , navigation radio and rear DVD system installed ( factory), and It is having a strange problem.
I can turn the radio and navigation normally, I can switch stations, etc, but there is no sound out of the speakers. When I plug my headphones in the read sound output, I can hear the music without issues. The Rear DVD is working fine when using the infrared headphones.
My first impresion was the Bose Amplifier under could be damaged ( The bose amplifier that is under the center console), but the chime sound ( when the door is open and key in the ignition), is working fine. I can hear the chime trought the speakers as expected. ( considering that the chime wiring is passing trought the bose amp as well ).
Just to confirm, I disconected the Amp cables and chime stopped to work, so it seems Amp ( for the chime circuit is workig, i supposed).
Anyone here have an idea how to fix this issue or at least what to check ?
Any ideas in how can ( if it is possible) i bypass the amp or test it?
Thanks
Francisco
