Default Suburban clock doesn’t change after I start the suburban

We got our battery changed a couple of weeks ago and the clock wouldn’t set. We tried all the things and nothing worked. Then one day it just came on, but it doesn’t change after time has passed. If we push the time it will update but still won’t keep time. Any suggestions???

I have a similar issue after a shop disconnected by battery. The only thing on the clock display is the colon. I can adjust it at all, I tried many times disconnecting the negative batt. cable and waiting different amounts of time before reconnecting it, but it has yet to fix itself. I think there is another member who had this issue, but theirs finally resolved itself somehow.

After a new batter install on 05 Suburban LT, mine will adjust, but next day I have to reset the time again?
