Default Suburban with Bose Radio Problems

Wondering if anyone has run across this problem. I have a 2009 Suburban LTZ with the Bose radio/DVD etc. It seems to work fine except every 1-2 minutes it will "skip" similar to what the old CD players would do when they were bumped. It only stops and skips for a brief second and will come back on. It happens in all modes (radio/DVD/aux)and does the same whether standing still or moving so I don't think going over bumps has any effect on it.

Hi Jkinscv,

Sounds like an electrical short to me... maybe a loose audio wire somewhere, or perhaps a speaker dying?

Is there an amp involved? Is the skipping heard in the wireless headphones? Any other details?
