Default Suburban Rear glass

I have a 99' Suburban with 216k on it. I have noticed when I'm driving and I hit a bump the interior lights will flicker. I have determined this to be the rear hatch glass being able to pull away from the frame that holds it latched to the lower gate. (I have the mini tailgate with the glass that opens upwards.) I can pull out on the handle that is attached to the glass and pull the glass outwards away from the frame a little bit. It's not loose but just delaminating? If that's the correct term I have no idea. What can I do about this? Will i have to take the glass off and go buy some windsheild urethane and reset the glass? Is this common or am I the only one?
